Armstrong Siddeley Centenary Celebration
July 6 - July 14| See website
The RRHT Coventry & Ansty Branch is supporting the Armstrong Siddeley
Owners Club celebration of the centenary of Armstrong Siddeley Motors.
Armstrong Siddeley was one of the constituents of Bristol Siddeley
which was taken over by Rolls-Royce in 1966.
The celebration begins with Armstrong Siddeley cars meeting at Bamburgh
Castle, Northumberland, on 6-7 July then moving to Cragside, the home of
Lord Armstrong, on 8 July. The cars will be at York on 8-10 July then
travel to Coventry on 11 July for the national meeting in the Memorial
Park on Sunday 14 July.
The RRHT will be represented at Coventry Memorial Park with three cars
from our collection: the 1904 Siddeley Autocar, 1923 Stoneleigh ‘Chummy’
and Armstrong Siddeley Star Sapphire saloon.
